Open Minded in Southwest Virginia is a private men's group where the hyper masculine are understood, mountain men are embraced, average Joe's are exceptional, bears are loved and enjoyed, and skinny boys don’t see themselves as too skinny but just right!  We are a place where males of all backgrounds are supported and are authentically expressing themselves.  We don’t just say that Open Minded is inclusive and shame-free, we Prove It. 

Our History

Open Minded in Southwest Virginia was inspired by Fornication and Cununion.  After moving to rural Southwest Virginia and realizing that we lacked access to a Private Men's Group, we decided things had to change.  We decided to create a safe space for men with common interests and afford them an opportunity to meet other like minded guys in person.  Since we have access to a private place and can offer a safe DRUG-FREE venue for men 21 and older, we decided we would do our best to provide a place for men to gather and enjoy themselves without the fear of being shamed for who they are.  Our focus is our communities in Southwest Virginia, Northeastern and Eastern Tennessee, and Southeastern Kentucky.  If you are from these regions and are interested in meeting other Open Minded guys, please sign up below for event invites and updates.  All information is shared via email due to the nature of our group and to respect each other's privacy.

Venue Location

Open Minded in Southwest Virginia is hosted in a private residence located in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.  Big Stone Gap is located in Wise county.  Once you haev confirmed your attendance with a successful RSVP, you will be provided the exact addres for the venue as well as all party details.
