What is Open Minded in Logan DC?

These are ALL-MALE NAKED GROUP PLAY PARTIES.  There is no pressure to do anything - you may participate as you wish.  Condoms, lube, paper towels and refreshments are supplied - you are expected to use condoms if your partner requests you to do so (but the great majority of men choose to bareback).  Although we welcome a diverse crowd (18+), please be ht/wt proportional and reasonably fit.  (PLEASE include your STATS and/or PICS for consideration if you send an inquiry below.)  Men in their 20's and 30's are especially welcome.  NO DRUGS are allowed, although poppers and BYOB are OK.  (Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere in the building.)  Parties are most often held in the host's apartment on Vermont Ave. in the Logan Circle neighborhood of DC.  The main play spaces are the master bedroom and living room, with porn playing in both rooms.  Please respect the space and respect each other. Parties usually have a "theme" to add interest, but the activities stay the same - men doing what men enjoy doing... :)  These parties are friendly and fun - cum enjoy!  

Our History

The Open Minded Party Group originated in DC.  For many years, parties were hosted in Dupont Circle by Dave, the founder of the group.  In 2015, Dave moved away from DC and handed the reins over to Morgan, the current host.  Since that time, parties have mostly been held at Morgan's home in Logan Circle, although occasional parties are held in other locations in and around DC.  We generally have a couple parties each month, with play sessions at both lunchtime and in the evening to accommodate people's varied schedules.

With Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend behind us, that means it's time to get ready for our

Annual Leather-themed Party! 

Since the January Leather party is always LOADS of fun, I'm thrilled to confirm that Andy & Alberto have invited us back again to have the party at their wonderful house. 

We've been there for the past several January leather parties (although we had to cancel last year due to weather - fingers crossed for better weather this year!), but in case you're not familiar with it, this is a GREAT location near the National Zoo in DC; there is ample easy parking nearby (and you can walk there from the Metro, if necessary), and we'll have 3 floors of play space to enjoy! And it will be a great opportunity for people to re-live, re-tell and re-enact all the fun of MAL Weekend... ;) 

Of course, I'm sure one or more slings will also help set the mood!

For this party, we allow people to change out of their street clothes upon arrival and dress in leather/fetish gear during the "social hour" from 8-9 pm, and then you can also stay in leather (or not) during playtime as well. Of course, leather is NOT required, so don't worry if you don't have any or don't wish to wear it. Nudity is always an acceptable option. (At past parties, roughly half of the attendees have opted to wear leather - and others not...)

NOTE: Although this party will be similar to the parties we’ve had in Alexandria,

this is NOT at that location - this is in DC.

With this amount of space, we can accommodate a larger crowd, 

so this might be a great party to invite hot friends and introduce them to our group!  

Just let me know how many are coming, so we can plan.

IMPORTANT:  This party will also be a little different in terms of logistics.  Note that this party will go from 8 pm till midnight, with a social hour from 8-9 and play from 9-12  Otherwise, things will work pretty much as they do at my place.  Either I or an assistant will check you in at the door and collect donations (suggested $20 or $10 for students/hardship - cash or Venmo) and give you a numbered bag for your clothes.  

If you arrive late and nobody is at the door, 

please look for me (or another organizer) to check you in.

Snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.

BYOB

The usual supplies (condoms, lube, paper towels) will be available in the play spaces.  

As always, please respect the space and respect each other. 

At the hosts’ request, we really want people to arrive for the social hour, 

preferably by 8:30, but at least by 9pm.

(Although we can make limited exceptions, if really necessary, and you let us know.)

We will make ANNOUNCEMENTS at 9 pm, then it’s ready, set, GO for playtime!

And since the location is NOT at my place.

We sometimes get upwards of 100 people for this party, so come expecting a good time!
